Akram Khan
Khan makes work that integrates Kathak and contemporary dance. His work often stems from emotional stimuli and a human point of view. He has choreographed works with many other artists, for example Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Slyvie Guillem, who are also dancers, as well as Anthony Gormley, a contemporary sculptor and Nitin Sawhney a contemporary musician.
